LD Blossoms
One of our newest and youngest Little Dragons has truly blossomed after several weeks of taking a very slow road to self confidence. Kudos to her parents who have consistently brought her to class and encouraged her during the initial period of understandably being scared in a new and exciting environment. Great job for their persistence!

Staff Meeting 2 Staff Meeting 1

Our Masters Classes continue to grow and May was an exciting month for our “Staff Meetings”! We did a lot of application work so students learn how to use the staff and also why we do the moves the way we do! And what a shoulder workout!! We are now looking forward to all the fun that June will bring with not only Short Staff, but all the other Masters Classes as well!

Big Dragons Focus Eyes
An awesome display of how the Dragons learn to focus their eyes while accomplishing their goal. The importance of eye focus is where success starts, but is often overlooked.

Dragon Power
Kung Fu develops the Mind, Body & Spirit. Pippa demonstrates that when all three are focused together, fitness and respect you can do amazing things.
Gold Dragons Have Fun
The Gold Dragons class (12 to 17 yrs old) is a great class for these young adults to find out just what they’re capable of while developing discipline, respect, and getting fit!

Kicks of Discipline
Truly awesome what concentration can do for 7 to 10 year olds!

Student
Making Friends! These two students are buddies now and came up with an awesome sign that they both collaborated on.

Codori
Ms. Codori demonstrating the heel thrust kick. She was unable to finish the entire set of kicks and after Class asked if she could go back in and complete them. That is awesome! Kudos to that determination. It’s an inspiration!

South Promo Oct Pics
Elias and his mom happily show the result of many previous successes. This young Dragon now has strong experience in setting and achieving small goals and the perseverance working for something and not always getting it easy. And look at that smile!

Our most recent Tai Chi student, Katherine demonstrates how adaptable and important Tai Chi really is. "For now!" as we both say, she needs a chair nearby to aid her during class. Mr. Holtz helps her perfect the "Hold the Ball" posture which strengthens the biceps and triceps as well as the deltoid muscle group in the shoulder.

Lady From South Side 2
Here is a picture that is truly worth a thousand words, 15 pounds, and an extra belt hole. This is one of our South Side students who, by the time she achieved her orange level 1 sash, had lost 15 pounds. That crazy thing she’s holding is a tool for adding extra holes to your belt.
